Wisdom Tooth Extraction
Since childhood, every individual has been told that a healthy person has 32 teeth in his mouth.
Everyone is taught that the number of teeth in the mouth is 32. 4 of these are wisdom teeth, one each in the lower right, upper right, lower left and upper left in each half of the jaw. Today, these teeth do not form in most people. Depending on the degrowth of the jaws, they remain buried in some cases.
Wisdom teeth that cannot find an opening to erupt completely in the mouth or develop in a position other than the eruption position, remain embedded in the gums. Sometimes, these teeth remain in the mouth in a semi-embedded position. In these cases, these teeth begin to act as a chamber for the accumulation of food residues in the back of the jaw. The accumulation of food residues leads to inflammation of the gums and mouth sores in the region.
After wisdom teeth are formed in the mouth, they can cause problems and pain at any age. The problem usually occurs in the form of pain, swelling in the area of the wisdom tooth or tooth decay and pain in the anterior tooth.
If these teeth will not have any function, they should be extracted to prevent diseases and infections in the mouth.
